Possessed Explorer

The character created represents a female explorer who has been possessed by an ancient and powerful soul that has derived from an ancient artefact. The purpose of this character was to display a mixture of elegance and lack of control as the soul puppets the adventurers old body. The clothing worn by the explorer took inspiration from 1950s vintage fashion mixed with the stereotypical idea of an explorer. Each pose presented is intended to represent the different stages that occur as she touches the ancient artefact. When working on the character, I took inspiration from Indiana jones and The Mummy; focusing on the way in which those movies presented the idea of an explorer.
